Step 1: Prepare Your Files
- Download the Background and Subject Images
- Ensure your digital background and subject image are high-resolution for the best results.
- Launch Photoshop and open both your subject image and the digital background file.
Step 2: Remove the Background from Your Subject
- Use the Select and Mask Tool
- Go to Select > Subject (Photoshop automatically detects the subject).
- Click Select and Mask in the top menu to refine the selection.
- Adjust the edges using the Refine Edge Brush Tool for areas like hair or fur.
- Apply the Mask
- Once refined, click OK, and Photoshop will apply the mask, isolating your subject from its original background.
Step 3: Import the Digital Background
- Place the Background
- Drag and drop the background file into your subject file, or go to File > Place Embedded.
